January 28, 2009 A Letter to you, from the Sullivan Family, For all of our past, present and future guests. First let me thank you for your patronage, sincerely; We are half way through our sixth year and thats no easy thing, and it's all because of you. Then Let me apologize to those of you who may have stopped by in the past and found us closed, for whatever reason may have been posted. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I am the sole Chef/Owner; my wife the server/ hostess and occassionally we have help when we can. We seat 38 people and I cook everything is prepared to order. It takes a little longer ; but you always get a well prepared, quality meal with service that is beyond friendly. We sincerely appreciate that you have chosen to dine with us whether it by referral, or accident or you thought we were an antique store and it smelled too good to leave! Ours is a unique cafe, we laugh with our guests, we have watched many of our guests children grow through the years as they have watched ours grow from his crib (Which is still in the middle of the store) to playing chess with customers. We have mourned those guests we have lost through the years but support the ones who remain to remember the good times they shared at our tables with their lost loved ones. We are a family operation; and when you dine with us you are a part of that family. Sometimes we fight with each other; and we may fight with you. Our guests eavesdrop on each other and introduce themselves into other conversations; and we like it that way. It feels good and it's friendly. So our hours are kinda limited around our family and childrens schedule. Not many have gotten rich that way and we realize that; but more importantly we have our time together to enjoy our children and each other; to help with homework; get involved with school and other activities such as soccer, scouts, biking or watching the sun set on the Gulf with my wife and kids. I've worked in restaurants since 13 years old and i learned that if i don't set limits to that beast; it will consume every hour of every day. In New York i was Executive Chef over 3 restaurants and worked 15 hours a day 6 days a week. I made plenty of money but i missed too much of Christian as a baby. It wasn't worth it. We want your business, we want to cater for your parties; we want you to bring friends, loved ones, first dates and new business associates and build memories in that little space that we have created on the bike trail in downtown Tarpon Springs. We invite you to join us as guest, friends and family. We open Friday and Saturday nights and our kids work with us and they ALL get Straight A's. They learn soo much from our customers as they talk to people from every walk of life. Sunday is our family day of rest and recreation and Monday is for the wife and I. So if you come to our place...and we are closed, I apoligize in advance and I'll treat you to a bread pudding w/ Whiskey sauce when i see you again. Call if you know you're coming and you won't be disappointed. Thank You for giving us nearly 7 great years together...with you. We wish you a Great Summer full of health and happiness. Chef Brad Sullivan and Family Now for the more impersonal info that i have to share with you! Thank you so much for your patronage during these hard times! I will prepare a feast fit for a king for you and my wife will welcome you to our family! We offer the best of Cajun, Greek, Italian, Creole and French cuisines! “Outstanding” “Exquisite” “Returning to Enjoy” Fantastic! Incredible Food, Personal Service! good fun This is a good, fun place to eat in Tarpon Springs. A Mom and Pop operation with professional overtones. We enjoy it! This is VERYunusual place. Yes, don;t be turned off by the surroundings!! Food is OUTSTANDING, individual servings. Rated a 4+ on the entire menu. Will goback often, as the menu isfull of really great things!!! It's a small place that works most of the dinners on a reservation basis. You can bring your own beer/wine since they don't offer it. Glasses are provided. Chef Brad is a genius in the galley. He preps and cooks each item to order with love.
